Theory Student Apartments
Client: PeakMade
PeakMade was introducing its brand to a new market with a new suite of student housing developments across the country. Peak’s Syracuse project was to pilot the venture. It would be a 601-bed community that will serve students of Syracuse University. With abundant amenities tailored around a student’s needs, this development was to be positioned as a boutique alternative to classic student housing. The project required a name and brand which could be replicated seamlessly across a number of markets yet flex to reflect each region.
Being a college student can feel like a balancing act. You want to pass your classes and you want to have fun. You want to be independent and you want to live close to your friends. You want to please your parents and you want to please yourself. We offered the theory that living in an apartment that has the right personal space, the right social areas, and the right location affords you the best college life. The name was a nod to academia but spoke to the student lifestyle. The visuals paired a hand-lettered logotype, paired with bold color, candid lifestyle photography, and copy which conveyed our theories on having it all in college.
